The most famous star cluster in the sky, a tight sparkle of young blue stars that almost every culture on Earth has named. Most people count six or seven stars with the naked eye, but the cluster holds over a thousand. The Pleiades are babies by star standards, younger than the dinosaurs are old, still wrapped in wisps of glowing blue dust.
