One of the grandest craters on the Moon, with terraced walls like a stadium and mountains rising from its center. The impact that carved it sprayed bright rays of debris across half the visible Moon face; with binoculars you can trace them yourself at full Moon. Astronomers once nicknamed a photo of it the picture of the century.
