A constant rain of atomic nuclei accelerated to near light speed by supernova shockwaves and other cosmic engines. When they strike our atmosphere they burst into showers of particles, a few of which pass through your body every second of your life. Cosmic rays even help trigger cloud formation and leave traces in tree rings, the sky's particle weather written into wood.
