A blazing young cluster set in the Scorpion's curved tail, sometimes called the northern counterpart of the Jewel Box. Its stars are heavyweights, including Wolf-Rayet stars already peeling off their outer layers on the fast track to supernova. The whole region glows as one of the Milky Way's brightest patches.
