An old, loose cluster in Andromeda that is quietly coming apart. After more than a billion years, its stars have drifted so far from one another that the galaxy's tides are slowly winning the tug of war. Most stars, including our Sun, were born in clusters like this and later set off alone. Watching NGC 752 is watching that goodbye in slow motion.
