GLOBULAR CLUSTER · the close one
One of the two nearest globular clusters, close enough for Hubble to study its faintest members, including the coolest, oldest white dwarfs. Its center hides not one big black hole but apparently a seething swarm of small stellar remnants, a concentrated graveyard at the heart of the hive.
