The most famous dark cloud in the sky: a pillar of cold dust that happens to look exactly like a horse's head, standing in silhouette against a curtain of glowing red hydrogen near Orion's belt. The horse is enormous, light years tall, and slowly changing; in a few million years the radiation around it will have reshaped it into something new.
