A small, brilliantly white moon with a big secret. From cracks at its south pole, called the tiger stripes, Enceladus shoots fountains of water vapor and ice into space. They come from a salty ocean under the ice, and the Cassini spacecraft even flew through the spray and tasted it. Some of that ice snows onto Saturn's rings. For astrobiologists, this little world is a superstar.
