In 2020, Crew Dragon became the first privately built spacecraft to carry astronauts to the International Space Station. The capsule does almost everything on its own: it finds the station, docks automatically, and at the end of the mission brings the crew home under parachutes into the sea. Inside, it looks more like a modern car than a cockpit full of switches.
