An ancient, sprawling, faint constellation of a figure pouring water, placed in a region the Babylonians called the sea, full of watery constellations. Its modest stars frame two showpieces: the Helix Nebula, the great eye of a dying star, and the globular cluster M2. Quiet on the surface, deep underneath.
