OPEN CLUSTER · the relaxed triangle
A loose, friendly triangle of around 30 bright stars in the Swan, at its best not in big telescopes but in simple binoculars, where it fills the view like scattered diamonds. Charles Messier added it to his catalog in 1764. A reminder that some of the sky's pleasures prefer modest equipment.
