This comet looks like a giant rubber duck: two icy lobes stuck together at a narrow neck. Europe's Rosetta spacecraft flew alongside it for two years and dropped the little lander Philae onto its surface, the first soft landing on a comet ever. Rosetta watched the comet wake up near the Sun, with jets of gas and dust bursting from its cracks.
