Our constant companion. The Moon was probably born when a Mars sized body slammed into the young Earth and the debris clumped together. Its gravity tugs our oceans into tides, and it always shows us the same face. Twelve astronauts have walked on it, and their footprints are still there, because there is no wind to blow them away.
