A V of stars forms the Bull's face, with orange Aldebaran as its furious eye, while the Pleiades cluster sparkles on its shoulder like a brand. Only the front half of the Bull stands in the sky; mythology says he is wading. Taurus is among the oldest constellations known; the Bull may even appear in the 17,000 year old cave paintings of Lascaux.
