A black widow pulsar: it spins 707 times every second and is slowly evaporating its tiny companion star with beams of radiation, devouring the partner that once spun it up. All that stolen material made it the heaviest neutron star known, flirting with the limit beyond which it would collapse into a black hole. Nature testing its own boundaries.
