The first rover on another world: a bathtub shaped Soviet robot on eight wheels, steered live from Earth by a five man crew with a delay of several seconds per command. It drove about ten kilometers across the Sea of Rains, worked through almost a year of lunar days and nights, and its laser reflector is still used for measurements today.
