Makemake

One of the brightest objects in the Kuiper belt, a frozen world coated in reddish methane ice far beyond Neptune. Makemake is named after the creator god of the people of Easter Island. It was discovered shortly after Easter, and its sheer existence helped convince astronomers that Pluto was not alone out there, but part of a big icy family.
