Far from the four bright stars of Castor circles a dim pair of nearly identical red dwarf twins. Seen from Earth, they eclipse each other every ten hours, blinking like a slow lighthouse. Their mutual eclipses let astronomers weigh and measure red dwarfs with rare precision, making the faintest members of the family scientifically the most valuable.
